SECONDS Rainbow Striped Cup
This sweet, colorful small cup holds 6 floz, and 3 3/8in tall by 3in at the rim measures .
Blue, green, purple, and yellow stripes encircle the surface of the cup, achieved by dying the clay with strain and throwing it as one piece on the potters wheel- a technique called neriage. Once dried, the cup was carved into around the upper half, revealing layers of colored clay below the surface. Interior glaze is a creamy light periwinkle, making it food safe.
The cup is marked as a seconds or discounted piece due to a small chip on the foot of the cup.
